So the saga begins again. Shortly after the new year we began to ship corn on one of our January contracts. It was not an easy go at the beginning. Several issues with the truck needed to be resolved before things go flowing smoothly. Snow has continued to fall as the weeks have gone by but the roads have been in good condition. No corn harvest is likely to happen for a while! Not all of our bins can be unloaded into the central drag conveyor, for those that can't we auger the grain into wagons and get the corn in the overhead ready to load the truck quickly and keep on pace. To ensure a high quality a blend of multiple bins will be used this winter to achieve high grades.

It is quite something to see but we had to snow blow our fields to get the grain out of them. :)

Tried to get another few fields off before temperatures got too high and the snow began to melt. Quit before the combine plugged this go around!

Cleared off another fence line, under the thick snow the ground isn't very hard yet so it went quite well, just can't see overly well.
